My favorite feature of this home is the decorative fireplace in the living room. It is marble with a black cast iron grill. I thought built-in cabinets on either side would look good and also provide needed storage. I also thought they should be black to match the fireplace ...and so I started thinking about them and putting the room together around this wall.
